The project at St Michael’s has been running for over 3 years and CEDF has built up a close relationship with the school. The school was looking to grow its out of hours learning activities as part of the extended schools programme and asked CEDF to offer Arts and Crafts workshops after school for children. These workshops were closely tailored to the schools' needs and the following year, the Parent Partnership Worker expressed an interest in offering family learning sessions for Afro-Caribbean children and their parents. The school has also benefited from CEDF's additional support during Parents' Evenings, assemblies, Black History Month, Art Week and Activities for All. CEDF also offered the school after school Panjabi classes which have been running successfully for almost three years.
