The Black Training & Enterprise Group is a national organisation that works to improve opportunities in education and employment for black and ethnic communities. Travelwise
CEDF has signed upto the Travelwise initiative. This scheme was set up by Birmingham City Council to encourage staff and users of community venues to explore modes of transport other than personal car to reach the centre. CEDF encourages staff and users to car share when visiting or attending the centre. We have signed up to this we have agreed to inform the staff and users about the initiative and its benefits.

Barford Tigers Hockey Club
This is one of CEDF’s newer partnerships. The hockey club which was set up in 1966 approached CEDF with a view to helping children and young people achieve physically and their participation has had a positive impact on their academic studies. The club has invited pupils to join their youth team.

Hamstead Hall School
"This secondary school and CLC (community learning centre) in Handsworth Wood is one of our first partner organisations. Our work began in 2003 and the partnership is built on trust.
