HISTORY
Community, Education & Development Foundation Limited is an independent not-for-profit organisation (a charity and company limited by guarantee) which provides projects and services. The core values of CEDF were embedded in the minds of the founder trustees over 10 years ago – giving something back to the community, in the form of services needed by the local community. The trustees contacted local businesses they knew of and it became apparent there were many people wanting to put something back into their local community but due to time restrictions, personal and work commitments they were unable to do so. However these business people were happy to donate a portion of their profits to worthwhile projects. The trustees decided to set up a charity which was registered in 2002 and CEDF received generous donations from companies |
